Design and Technology Lab Zurich is a newly founded workspace bringing engineering students from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETH), and industrial design students from Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) together. Multi-Media Installation

In order to present some early results of this collaboration to a wider public, an innovative system was developed: A plotting machine continually drafts students projects onto paper. These drawings are then tracked by projections that carefully follow the motion of the paper using pattern recognition software.

Combining Divergent Aesthetics

Analog and digital media converge to symbolize different approaches to product development and display the immense potential of interdisciplinary collaboration.
